Go to the Shakespeare app settings and scroll down the Quote Settings section. Slide the Quote of the Day setting to the on or off position.

1. On your device, go to Settings > Notification Center.
2. Scroll down the list of apps until you see the Shakespeare or Shakespeare Pro app. Tap the icon to view the app notification settings.
3. Slide all the options you want to use to the ON position (to the right).
4. Choose an alert style when unlocked (either Banners or Alerts). If you choose None, the daily quotes will not appear when your device is unlocked. You will have to first unlock it and then go to the Notification Center to see quotes.

Important: Daily quotes require both the Quote of the Day option in the app settings AND the option in the Notification settings to be turned ON.
